NEW: CPP Accelerator Program

The ASIS Foundation is proud to offer all ASIS Chapters the opportunity to select one individual as a candidate for an CPP certification with the gift of a complimentary CPP exam.

Deadline for application to the ASIS Southwestern Ontario Chapter Awards Committee is noon on December 1st.  Download the award application form below.  Send the completed application to asisswo@gmail.com. 

Completed applications will be reviewed by the Awards Committee and the successful applicant will be notified by December 10th.  If there is more than one applicant, the Awards Committee will determine the winner based on the application and will apply the same metrics the Committee used for the ASIS International GSX Complimentary Registration Award. 

Please include in your application the following information: 

   · Number of years in the Security industry

   · Number of years served on Chapter Executive

   · Number of times you stood for Chapter office but were unsuccessful

   · Number of years on a Chapter committee

   · Number of years on ASIS International committees/councils etc.

   · Number of years of volunteer leadership in other security related organizations (specify organizations)

ASIS Southwestern Ontario Chapter #241 is pleased to announce that three scholarships in the amount of $500.00 each, will be awarded by the Chapter, to three students whom are in their second or third year of police foundations or a security-related discipline, at a community college or university in the geographic area served by our chapter. Along with these scholarships, the successful candidates will also be awarded with an ASIS membership for one year.

The Southwestern Ontario Chapter # 241 of ASIS International was established in 2002. ASIS International is the preeminent organization for security professionals. Founded in 1955, ASIS International is dedicated to increasing the effectiveness and productivity of security professionals by developing educational programs and materials that address broad security interests.
