Chapter Committees

Member engagement is key to our Chapter's success.   Whether it is attending our events, or volunteering on one of our Committees, we all benefit from our contributions.   If you are interested in volunteering in a committee, there are opportunities available. 

Executive Committee

This committee consists of four elected volunteer members serving for a one-year term from January 1st to December 31st each year. The Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer are responsible for planning all chapter events, and coordinating the activities of the other sub-committees. This committee is responsible to educate and develop young careerists by providing a forum to engage and learn from security thought leaders, get involved with ASIS programs and activities, and connect with peers from across the globe.

This committee is responsible for organising events that provide support and assistance to women in the security field, as well as inspire those interested in entering the profession.

Certification Committee

This committee is responsible for organizing the chapter's annual certification study groups, for the Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP) and Professional Certified Investigator (PCI) designations.
